Turn it. Still right?
It looks like a simple arrow. Then you turn it—and your eyes start asking questions.
From the right viewing angle, the Always Right Arrow appears to point right even after you turn it around. Place the included mirror behind it, and its reflection appears to point left.
One arrow. Two directions. Plenty of confused faces.
A twist for your eyes
The secret is in the arrow’s sculpted curves. Its unusual three-dimensional shape creates a surprising appearance when viewed from the right angle.
Try the mirror trick
Compare the arrow with its reflection: right in front of you, left in the mirror. Let your friends take a closer look and try to figure it out.
Made for curious reactions
Display it on your desk, bring it out at a gathering, or challenge a friend to explain what they’re seeing.
How to use
- Connect the black post to the base and place the white arrow on top.
- Remove the mirror’s protective film.
- Attach the two adhesive mirror holders and stand the mirror behind the arrow.
- Adjust your viewing position until the arrow appears to point right and its reflection appears to point left.
- Turn the arrow around and compare again from the same viewing position.
The illusion depends on your viewing angle. Adjust your position to find the clearest effect.
